Project Overview

We've joined forces with past-client, Kenworth, once again; Only this time we were asked to join them in Tucson, Arizona, where they hosted their yearly dealership retreat. 

Kenworth had their sights set on offering their guests a one-of-a-kind experience and gift, and we quickly got to work on dreaming up a special event offering.

What we created was a unique "Build-A-Bag" concept, where the guests in attendance had the opportunity to consult with a Lockeland Leather Design Specialist to create a Customized, Handcrafted Weekender Bag.

Each guest was given the opportunity to choose a Heavy-Weight Waxed Canvas color, and a Full-Grain Latigo Leather finish. For the finishing touch and an added level of customization, we offered complimentary Monogram Stamping.

Once the unique designs were finalized, the orders were dispatched back to our studio in Nashville, Tennessee, where we handcrafted each bag as requested.

We could tell you about all of the quality materials, labor-intensive details, and skilled craftsmanship that it took to produce each bag, but figured you'd much prefer browsing a collection of photos captured during the process.

Handcrafting these custom Weekender Bags to order was no easy feat. Each bag was meticulously assembled from 20+ pattern pieces, solid brass zippers, and hardware attachments.

We mean it when we say "it takes a village," and we owe many thanks to all of the hands to helped bring this project to life.
